Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

UGO Autonomous ("UGO," "we," "us") builds autonomous marketing software for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we'll explain it plainly.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you create an account, book a call, or use UGO, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Your business website (which UGO analyzes to learn your brand)
  • Connected social accounts — if you choose to connect platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, or others, so UGO can publish on your behalf

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site. See Cookies and analytics below.

Business content

UGO analyzes your public business information — your website, services, and publicly available reviews — to build a model of your brand and generate marketing content. This content is created for you and remains yours.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the UGO service — analyzing your brand, generating content, and publishing to platforms you've connected
  • Create and manage your account
  • Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve our product and understand how our website is used
  • Meet legal and security obligations

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Who we share information with

We share information only where it's necessary to run the service:

Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate UGO, including bums.ai (our platform infrastructure) and GoHighLevel (our website, CRM, and booking systems). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Platforms you connect

If you connect a social or business platform — such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest, X, or Threads — UGO will send content to that platform on your behalf. This only happens for platforms you explicitly connect. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data.

Legal

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of UGO, our customers, or the public.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Specifically, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site — which pages they visit, how they arrived, and how the site performs.

This helps us improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active.

If you cancel, we retain your data for up to 180 days, after which it is deleted. This window exists so you can reactivate without losing your brand profile and content history.

You can delete your data at any time

You don't have to wait 180 days. Email [email protected] and request deletion, and we'll remove your data promptly.

6. Your rights and choices

Regardless of where you live, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that's inaccurate
  • Delete your data — at any time, by request
  • Disconnect any social platform you've linked, which stops UGO from publishing to it
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message

To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

California residents

If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Users in the EU / UK

If you're located in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view customer data.

That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk.

8. Children, changes, and contact

Children

UGO is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product and legal obligations evolve. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to account holders directly.
